REACT is the only place that lets you sample.  Sampling is more than just volunteering it’s a way to learn about your future career.  It helps your family and friends live healthier and allows you to get more involved with your community.  It makes you more valuable for the future.  And it’s no doubt the hypest way to volunteer in Providence.

To sample you gotta be a part of REACT.  To join REACT all you have to do is fill out an application
online and then get approved for one of the trainings. 

The REACT trainings will hook you up with the tools necessary to sample and choose the opportunity that best fits you. At the trainings you'll meet the samplin' coordinators who talk to you about the different volunteer opportunities and help you sign up for the one you like the best. It's ok if you don't find a sampling placement that day – the REACT team will work with you one on one to find the one that is best for you. Also if there is a place you already know you want to sample – we'll help you get in.

Sampling placements are 5-20 hours a week and last for 7 weeks. If you qualify you can earn up to $100 a week while you sample. You'll be working with medical professionals when you volunteer and it's your choice whether you want to work with patients or if you prefer more of an office setting. You could sample at hospitals, community health centers, long term care centers, and community organizations.
